Endless plains and the great migration.

The Serengeti is the reason most people come to Tanzania. Roughly 15,000 square kilometres of grassland, kopjes and riverine forest, hosting the largest land-mammal migration on earth.

The short-grass plains in the south are best from December to March for calving. The western corridor comes alive around May and June. By July the herds are pushing north toward the Mara River.
